Your First Visit to Blue Nails: What to Expect
If it's your first time in, here's what a typical visit looks like from booking to walking out.
Booking or Walking In
Book ahead online or call, or just walk in — we're at 5678 Capital Cir NW, next to Publix, with easy parking. Walk-ins welcome whenever we have room.
Check-In & the Consult
Let the front desk know your service, then your technician will ask about length, shape, and color preferences — a great time to mention Gel-X vs. Builder Gel questions or any past reactions to products.
During the Service
Most manicures run 30–60 minutes, pedicures 30–70 minutes. We're a newer, low-odor space, so most first-time guests notice how little chemical smell there is.
Tipping Norms
Most guests tip 15–20% of the service total, in cash or on card. See our full tipping guide for more detail.
