Holiday Nails in Tallahassee: Thanksgiving Through New Year
The stretch from Thanksgiving to New Year's is the busiest run of the year for nail appointments. Here's how to plan around it instead of scrambling for a same-week slot.
Thanksgiving Week
Thanksgiving nails tend to lean warm and low-key — deep reds, terracotta, or a classic French with a slightly warmer white. Book the weekend before Thanksgiving rather than that week itself, which is our busiest run of the year.
Christmas Color Palettes
December sets split into two camps: classic (deep red, forest green, a single gold or silver accent nail) and quiet (soft white, champagne, a subtle glitter fade). Both hold up well through the month on Gel-X or Builder Gel.
New Year's Eve Sets
NYE is where guests usually go bigger — chrome finishes, a full glitter set, or a solid metallic in gold, silver, or deep emerald. Book 2–3 days ahead rather than same-day.
Avoiding the December Rush
Our slowest days in December tend to be early in the week — Tuesdays and Wednesdays that aren't holiday-adjacent. We're open Sundays too, often a quieter option than a December Saturday.
