Pedicure Aftercare: Making It Last
A few simple habits after your pedicure keep polish looking fresh and skin feeling smooth for longer between visits.
Right After Your Appointment
Wear open-toe shoes or sandals for at least an hour if you got regular polish, so it has time to fully harden. Gel and dip color are cured under a lamp, so you can put on closed shoes right away.
The First Few Days
Avoid tight, closed shoes if possible while polish fully sets, and try to avoid long soaks in water (pools, long baths) for the first day, which can lift the edges of regular polish.
Keeping Skin Soft Between Visits
Moisturize feet daily, especially heels, right after a shower while skin is still slightly damp — this is the single biggest factor in how smooth feet stay between pedicures.
When to Rebook
Most guests rebook every 3–4 weeks. If you're prone to dry heels, see our Best Pedicure for Dry or Cracked Feet guide for which package helps most.
